From Atlanta
to the Sea
Jerry Solomon has spent more than 23 years behind the barber's chair. His career has taken him from Atlanta, Georgia to Hilton Head, South Carolina, through the shops of New York City, and down to Sarasota, Florida.
Then he found Carmel-by-the-Sea. In his own words: "By far, Carmel-by-the-Sea is the best place I've ever lived. I finally found my home and great friends. I'm a blessed man."
That gratitude shows up in the work. Carmel's Barber is a shop built on craft and conversation — where locals become regulars, visitors feel like locals, and every cut gets the full measure of two decades of experience.
