How much does a haircut cost?
A Signature Haircut is $60 and a Buzz Cut is $50. A Signature Haircut with Shampoo is $80, a Signature Haircut with Beard Trim is $80, and a Beard Trim on its own is $40. See the full services & prices.
Where is the shop located?
Carmel's Barber is on Lincoln St between Ocean Ave and 7th St, in Morgan Court, Suite 6, Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA 93921. Like all of Carmel-by-the-Sea, there's no street number — the shop is one block off Ocean Ave, tucked into the Morgan Court courtyard. Look for the barber pole, or get directions here.
What are the hours?
Tuesday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm. Saturday, 8:30am – 3:00pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome when the chair is open, and calling the shop at 831-375-8571 is the best way to guarantee your spot. Jerry will let you know the next available time and get you in the chair.
Do you do beard trims?
Yes. A standalone beard trim is $40, and you can combine a Signature Haircut with a beard trim for $80. Trims include shaping, balanced length, and a defined neckline.
Where can I park?
Free street parking is available throughout downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, including on Lincoln St, Ocean Ave, and the surrounding blocks (most spaces are time-limited). The shop is a short walk from anywhere in the village.
